Get Involved

Whilst any samba school's primary focus is on music and performance, it also thrives on the passion of everyone involved. There are many non-performing roles that contribute to the School and its activities, and there are plenty of ways you can contribute your time or skills and be involved with the Brighton School of Samba.

Friends of the School

Aside from the music and dance, time and help is always welcome in any of the following areas:

• Photography and videography
• Designers and costume artists
• Compositores (musicians, singers and composers)
• Transport and logistics (Brighton area)
• Helping steward the School on parade
• Administration

Support & Donations

The Brighton School of Samba is a not for profit organisation that relies on the income from workshops and members to support its activities. To keep workshops open and accessible to all parts of the community, these individual costs are kept as low as possible.

Support for the Brighton School of Samba can be made in a number of ways, including:

• Provision of materials for costumes
• Donation of your time and/or skill in a non-performing capacity
• Financial donations that will benefit the School's activities in providing skills opportunities to the community
