Workshops
Whether you are a school looking for an exciting activity during enrichment week or to supplement your curriculum, or an organisation seeking a new team-building exercise, we have the perfect workshop for you. We can provide group tuition and instruments for up to 30 people per session at your company, organisation, school or college in a full day, half-day or evening workshop or team-building session.

Our team are experienced, qualified teachers in their subject. All members of the team hold Enhanced CRB Disclosure. We aim to provide an energetic, motivating and all-inclusive session for every participant.

Andrew Jameson - Bateria Workshop Leader
The bateria workshops are led by Andrew, who also plays in the Brighton School of Samba bateria. Andrew is a qualified maths and music teacher as well as creator of numerous school's sound gardens made from scrap materials. Andrew brings his extensive skills and experience as a maths and music teacher to this role, and the school receives extremely positive feedback from the participants of his sessions.

Nadja Janssen - Bateria Workshop Leader
Nadja assists Andrew in bateria workshops, and is also in the Brighton School of Samba bateria. Nadja is a qualified science, maths and music teacher, with a specialist interest in additonal educational requirements. Nadja devised our series of samba activity sheets and games which are differentiated for school age pupils of all abilities. Many teachers have enjoyed working through these sheets with their pupils to supplement the workshops with Brighton School of Samba.

Marta Scott - Dance Workshop Leader
Marta's professionalism in teaching and performing spans over twenty years, with choreography and performance roles across Brasil, Europe, the Middle-East and the USA (including Broadway and Las Vegas), as well as parading at Rio Carnival with 'Salgueiro' and 'Tradicao' as Passista. Marta's enthusiasm and easy-going nature allows dancers to immediately feel comfortable and she transfers her passion for samba and Brasilian culture to her students.
